While designers are bending towards the more echo friendly approach to the pieces what’s interesting is the emphasis of rainbow colours in vibrant styles hitting the retailer’s showcases. Interesting colourful jewellery pieces are a surefire way to add a touch of delight to a look. Take a look at this years runway sightings and you will get a clear idea about what we are talking about. Technicolor designs from designers with the highest calibre who make art out of a simple idea. Designers like Stella Mc Cartney, Lanvin who sure created eco-friendly magic with their material selection, colors, carefully combining shades and crafting tonal stories which were different and appealing to the eyes.

Stella McCartney gets full points for weaving a story and putting across an important point on sustainability. The use of upcycled paper clips in creating shoulder hugging long earrings was sure an eye catcher. So was the use of colourful rubber bands in necklaces. Not to forget the hoop earrings with colorful leftover yarn twisted around them for a softer texture. At Lanvin, the colorful tassel earrings were instant hits, as well as medallion earrings set in a colorful base which looked like they had been taken straight out of a North African bazaar.
